I've seen Octavia with head tail lights from Audi A8. As Ioose told everything is possible. Depending on your location it is only a question of good workmenship and legal rights.
In fact there is a bit car body work and than it must be coloured...

Okay.. sounds nice.
But it's amazing, that there's no easy way to het clear head lights on a Octavia, without modding everything, and spending a lot of €€€ :S

Hi,

the item description answers your question. It says that an O1 built 97-2000 needs some modifications and if it was built 2000-2005 none are needed.

As I know in Germany has to be implemented an automated adjustment control for headlamps beam height. Dunno how it's handled in your country.

Cheers,

Sigma

Sorry Numsefis,

I don't exactly get what you want to have. Do you want to have xenon-headlights or do you just want to have headlights with clear, transparent glass plates?

Because Xenon-Headlights would need quite a few modifications besides making them fit into your car's front. You would need some headlight cleaning device (those nozzles spraying on the headlightws glass) and an automatic beam adjustment. Andditionally you would need some car body modifications to make the facelift headlights fit.

For using the clear plastic headlights of the facelift version, you would need to have the facelift's bumper, bumper girder, radiator grill plus holder bars and some small parts like plugs etc additionally to the facelifts headlights and indicators.
So the needed parts would be
casing front bumber plusgrid insets and black inset strip
radiator grill (3 parts)
halogen headlight left & right plus sealings
indicator lights left&right
(for order number for the RS version and further informations in german, see http://www.octavia-forum.de/forum/viewt ... highlight=)

The easiest way to have clear glass headlights would be to buy some from the Laurin&Klement pre-facelift special edition. Those would fit without modifications but are quite expensive or when second-hand would be an option rather rare.
